The 'Repeat Revival' is here and we are kicking off our return with the newly created, lukewarmly anticipated Repeat Radio show! In all seriousness, this is something we have wanted to do for a while and it gives us the chance to spin some music that we may have failed to write about previously. The team has always had a much broader taste than the website and social media lets off and we want to make sure everything is explored on our airwaves over the coming months.
In the first episode, we dig through the discography of Jeshi, whose debut album 'Universal Credit' is being released tomorrow. His music has been a mainstay on the platform since its dawn so we extracted some gems from his musical archive to play. We also spoke with Sophia Lili - an incredible voice from West London who you should be keeping tabs on. Her blends of neo-soul, RnB, and indie are turning the heads of fellow tastemakers, and with an EP in the pipeline, we wanted to be the first to introduce yourselves to her.
There's also new music from Feux, Nia Archives, Jim Legxacy, BXKS, and many more friends of the platform. The likes of Fiyadred, La Feve, Kadiata, Axel Boman, and Kae Tempest create some serious vibes too; hopefully, there are sounds to satisfy any moods or urges of any listeners tuning in.
