Leeds-based BUCKLEY drops an hour mix packed with ghastly UK bass and 140 music, digging through the depths of DJ culture while dropping a few dubplates of his own.
WORDS Liam Cattermole (@liam_cattermole)
Laying the foundations for a fruitful career, BUCKLEY’s risen through the ranks of Leeds’ DJ scene and become one of the city’s most promising figures. Running En:Yo alongside fellow selector Harpriya, a club night focusing on music between 130-140 BPM, the 22-year-old also has a residency on Subtle Radio and makes some heavy-hitting dubstep of his own.
Riddled with bongo-driven breakbeats, stomping techno and phantasmic dubstep, BUCKLEY delivers us an hour-long mix of his current favourite tracks. A labyrinth of UK bass genres, the selections personify his increasingly eclectic outlook on electronic music. From De-Tu and Congi’s ‘Off My Chest’ to Epoch’s ‘2 Door Subaru’, check out the mix below or on our Soundcloud.
