Suté Iwar Enlists kadiata For Breezy New Single 'STAR PLAYER'

Afrofusionist Suté Iwar wants us all to embrace the unknown and shine bright in periods of adversity.

Keeping up the pace, Suté Iwar released the third single from his forthcoming project, ‘ULTRALIGHT’ last week. Titled ‘STAR PLAYER’, the track features the unmistakable cadence of Pimlico-hailing producer-rapper kadiata. Seeking to spread positive vibes, and encouraging us to find our paths, the buttery alté ballad takes influence from the funkadelic electronica of artists like KAYTRANADA, Anderson. Paak and even Cruel Santino.

Hailing from Lagos, the multi-instrumentalist and vocalist has been making waves in his city and beyond thanks to a natural versatility. Blending a broad palette of genres, the singer-songwriter has found a winning formula that transcends the geographical borders in which it was made.

Bringing kadiata to the table is a shrewd move that will propel him further into the British conscience. A REPEAT favourite, the ‘On Tap’ singer adds dynamism and his signature idiosyncrasies.

‘ULTRALIGHT’ is set to drop on April 21st and features a range of voices from Britain, Nigeria and beyond. Check it out below.
