AAUCARRE HOODIE AND POUCH
I got put onto this up and coming french brand a week or so ago, and I have been infatuated with their punky skatewear ever since. This white hoodie is very minimalistic, but the pops of colour in the lettering really add to the piece. There is a clear military inspiration to the collections they’re releasing at the moment, which gives it that little edge over many other up and coming brands out there.
COMPOS MENTIS & CARHARTT WIP COLLAB
Raising awareness for mental health, Carhartt have released a tee shirt in support of the issue with Compos Mentis; a UK based creative industry looking to combat this concern. The illusional photography is simplistic, but really gripping too. It is a nice, subtle way to create more of a conscience on the matter.
PRADA’S SS19 LUMINOUS SPORTSWEAR
Prada’s latest seasonal collections haven’t been the most inspiring, but they’re continuing to release eccentric shirting and fluorescent sportswear for 2019. With this drop of womenswear, they’re showcasing their ability to intrude on the normalities of high end fashion, and cause a shock or two on the famous Milan catwalk.
MAHARISHI PANZĀ COLLECTION
Also adopting some military inspiration for their FW18 campaign, Maharishi are going against the grain by investigating the story behind the American Black Panthers. Using their classic, bold embroidery, and light weight nylon fabrics, these are a must cop for anyone considering a pair of warm trousers this winter. Tee shirts have also been released, but it is definitely the trousers that steal the show for me.
SUPREME X NIKE SEPTEMBER EDITION
Off the back of their SB Gelato rework, Supreme have yet again collaborated with the sportswear heavy weights for a week of clothing. By now, I was starting to wonder if Supreme have pushed it with their Nike collabs, but this has to be one of the best I’ve seen. The apparel is perfect for winter, featuring heavy duty dungarees, knitted polos and much more. This will be a difficult cop, but if you are lucky then it would be insane.
